Chapel for the longest time at Valor has been a symbol and moment of connection to God at Valor Christian High School. Eagle Eye Reporter, Alana Maurice interviews campus pastor Jim Kirchner about why we do chapel and who has an impact on its content and quality. Mr. Kirchner directs how chapel is, but the student leadership committee also helps determine the impact chapel has on the students at Valor and the teachers. Valor student, Caitlin Taylor talks about how she has seen chapel impact her life by helping her see more of God at Valor.

About the Contributors
Alana Maurice, Reporter
Alana Maurice is a freshman this year. She joined Eagle Eye Media because of the media classes she had taken in years past and how much she enjoyed them. A fun fact about Alana is that she does cheer. Alana used to live in Wisconsin. She has enjoyed arts since she was little. Media is one of her favorites because she gets to interview and find out things about other people and what is going on in their lives. Alana is looking forward to a fun and exciting year at Valor and meeting new people and discovering new interests.

Sarah Yeoh, Editor
Sarah is a junior who is devoted to spreading news throughout Valor Christian High School. She is in this class because of her passion for storytelling. She’s a person who will give you the plain truth, so don’t expect too much positivity. After all, the truth is always better, unless you are an emotional wreck. She likes comedy, which is shown sometimes in what she reports. Outside of school, she has a chubby guinea pig named Jackpot.
