Athletes who are in both club and high school sports understand the struggle of balancing both, but they also understand the love for the sport and dedication. In an interview with Abby Hubka, a student-athlete who is in both high school and club cheer. She’s recently coming back from an injury and going into the new season confidently. Abby tells us about the struggles of returning from an injury, being on two teams, and balancing cheer, school, and a job. She also got to go into detail about what she loves about cheer and how much she loves it and why! Inspiration sparked at the sight of all the positive and happy memories that are made in the cheer community. Abby got to talk about the differences and similarities that tie both of the communities together.

Alana Maurice is a freshman this year. She joined Eagle Eye Media because of the media classes she had taken in years past and how much she enjoyed them. A fun fact about Alana is that she does cheer. Alana used to live in Wisconsin. She has enjoyed arts since she was little. Media is one of her favorites because she gets to interview and find out things about other people and what is going on in their lives.
