High school is filled to the brim with traditions that link the student body into a vibrant community. With Valor Football’s recent win over Regis again, and the quarterfinals on Saturday, we wanted to highlight the game-day traditions that led to such success in the Football program. We specifically highlight Cash Spence (2026), who lays out his day starting with his breakfast in the morning and ending with a prayer. Cash has been on Varsity football for all 3 years he has been in the program, and his traditions mirror the traditions that Valor Football holds so dear: academic excellence, community, and worship of God. Highlighting the team meal, or the meal that Football eat before their game, we see the importance of community in the traditions of preparing for a football game. After eating their meal, the football team has downtime to reflect and relax, then they pray and go play.
Make sure to come out this Saturday for the Valor vs. Columbine Quarterfinal Football Game!
