This semester, students in Valor Christian High School’s Intro to Podcasting class turned their creative visions into fully produced, original podcasts. From concept development to final publication, this semester-long course equips students with the skills to create their own podcast—one they can continue growing beyond the classroom.
Students began by defining their podcast’s mission statement, brainstorming episode and guest ideas, designing artwork, and mastering the technology needed for high-quality production. They explored storytelling, editing, and promotion strategies, learning the ins and outs of podcasting from start to finish. The result? A lineup of engaging, student-driven podcasts now available on popular platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
