For the longest time, there has been a significant observation in the sport for volleyball. Although volleyball is open to both boys and girls, it is seen as a more stereotypically girls sport. Take a quick glimpse at a statistic. According to Zippia 78.1% of players are females, and the small percentage of what is left over when subtracting the percentage from 100 is the amount of males playing the sport.
The past few seasons, there has been a lot of focus on girls volleyball, but now it is time to put some coverage on boys volleyball. The head boys volleyball coach, Scott Paluso, claims that this season is going to lead into a “bright future for his program”.
This season, Scott Paluso is determined to bring more awareness and attention to boys volleyball, all while “building a connection”. His goal this year is to have three levels for the sport by having more people join.
Last of all, make sure to catch their games in the spring.
