The club fair is coming up next week!
Clubs are one of the best ways to get connected with the Valor community and with other students. Mrs. Ashley Loaiza, head of student leadership and clubs says, “clubs are really just a way to opt into getting involved with other students who are interested in the same things as they are.”
But not only are clubs an excellent way to get connected, they are also a great way to learn new skills, have fun and serve.
One popular group of clubs at Valor are the stem clubs. “I know there are a ton of really awesome stem clubs,” says Loaiza, “they do some really incredible things in stem that completely blow my mind.” With all the wonderful spaces and opportunities Valor has to offer, clubs are a great way to take advantage of all there is.
“And I know you don’t necessarily have to be in stem to start one of those clubs or be in one of those clubs,” says Loaiza. Clubs are open to everyone and everyone is encouraged to join at least one club at Valor this year.
With so many exciting clubs this year, from Discovery club, spike ball club, to book club, there is something for every student! Don’t forget to check out the club fair on Tuesday and Thursday business lunch (9/5 and 9/7).
